Gotta start somewhere, right? I made a commitment to learn Spanish when I started working in the classroom with Hispanic students. I've been at YES for nearly three years, and I am now just beginning to speak in complete sentences. Sadness, no?
So I start now. I am making a commitment to learn oral and written Spanish on my own (and to try to speak in complete sentences when I am talking to others).

You can speak in complete sentences and I'll always think it sounds great! ;-) I don't know the first thing about Spanish...

Good job!!! I am tutoring Spanish right now. It's hard. I ask my teacher friends for advice. I haven't had to explain what the Spanish are for like 3 weeks straight to anyone previously...
I'm also frustrated because she automatically says YES when I ask her if she understands, and then her quiz results def. contradict...
